This is a 2016 EU reissue vinyl LP pressing of Songs of Faith and Devotion by Depeche Mode. The English electronic music group originally released their eighth studio album on March 22, 1993, via Mute Records. Produced by Mark Ellis (a.k.a Flood) and the band members, the album incorporated a more aggressive, darker rock-oriented tone, largely influenced by the emerging alternative rock and grunge scenes in the United States.

Songs of Faith and Devotion became Depeche Mode's first studio album to reach number one on both the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. It also topped the charts in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland.
